Introducing the International Network for STEM, Participation, Innovation, Research, and Education
Advancing Youth Leadership and Meaningful Social Change through Science and Technology Innovations.
The International Network for STEM, Participation, Innovation, Research, and Education (INSPIRE) program offers young people aged 18–22 the opportunity to travel to the United States for a four-week exchange focused on cross-cultural dialogue, leadership, and community engagement through the lens of science and technology. Participants will learn about American culture and values, enhance their English skills, and strengthen their knowledge about the application of science and technology for social good and stronger communities. They will attend workshops at a U.S. university and stay with local host families. In the final week, participants will travel to Washington, D.C., for a closing session featuring additional workshops and visits to cultural and historical sites.
The program covers all expenses related to participation in the program, including the international roundtrip airfare, accommodation, and health insurance.

What is STEM Education?
STEM, which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, is an interdisciplinary approach to learning and teaching that aims to solve real-world problems and enhance critical thinking by incorporating knowledge from all four fields.
INSPIRE believes that STEM education goes beyond science and technology—it’s about using knowledge responsibly to make a real difference in the world. By learning how to innovate ethically and think critically, students can create solutions that improve lives and invite more people to take part in shaping our shared future.
Why Participate?
Spend four unforgettable weeks in the U.S. exploring the American culture of innovation and community participation, improving your English, developing real-world skills in leadership, negotiation, and collaboration, and building lasting connections with American professionals and students!
As part of your exchange experience, you will have a unique chance to take part in the America250 celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Celebrations will take place in communities across the country, from town squares and riverfronts to parks and historic sites. Special events will include parades, pageants and fireworks, among other things.
Who Can Apply?
INSPIRE accepts applications from undergraduate students between the ages of 18 and 22 who have an interest in improving their knowledge about the use of science and technology in the areas of cross-cultural exchange, community engagement, youth leadership, and English language learning. The program is open to students in all fields of studies currently studying and residing in Russia. If you are unsure whether your background would be a good fit for INSPIRE, do not hesitate to get in touch with any questions!
